My Practice Methods

Why would one want to Practice?

Obviously being Captain of a team one should be able to win more than one looses.
Like most players, we all strive to play the best we can, and when you start missing shots that you should normally make, it can get a little frustrating to say the least, especially when you know you can do better.

Like a lot of things in life, the more you repeat something, the better and quicker you become at that task.
Like it or not we all have bad habits when playing, from the way we hold a cue, to the stance or even how we strike the cue ball, most of us who have been playing on and off from an early age, never bothered being taught, and we all have figured out what works or doesn't work, and that knowledge, isn't always passed on, as what works for me, may not work for you, and lets face it, we are all mainly down the pub and getting drunk, so who cares... right???

One of my biggest issues, which makes most of my playing so inconsistant was my stance and how I'm holding the cue, yet around my table, my stance can get little out of hand, which is due to my playable area, but I do have a few areas where I can practice my stance and stroke drills, with a full size cue and it realy has helped my games.

There will be some video links within articles of my Practice Play and how much my game has changed.
So stay tuned.
